가을학술대회는 2024년 9월 27일(금)과 28일(토)에 걸쳐 롯데호텔부산 크리스탈볼룸에서 진행되었습니다. 모두 428 명(전문의 270 명, 전공의33 명, 세포병리사119명, 동반가족6명)이 등록하였습니다.

학회 총회에서는 학술상 시상이 있었습니다.
대상은 강북삼성병원 문지혜 회원이 “Clinical application of the anti-human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) antibody (SCD-A7) immunocytochemistry in liquid-based urine cytology: A prospective, single institute study (Cancer Med. 2023;12(9):10363-10370) ”논문으로 수상하였습니다.
우수상은 인하대병원 서유정 회원이“Cytological features of mesonephric-like adenocarcinoma of the uterine corpus (Diagn Cytopathol. 2023;51(5):294-306)” 논문으로 수상하였습니다. 학술장려상(JPTM세포논문 최다게재상)은 의정부성모병원 정요셉 회원이 수상하였습니다.
정책연구비는 용인세브란스병원 최윤정 회원이 ‘자궁경부암 암검진프로그램에 있어서 디지털 인공지능 진단보조시스템의 예상효과, 임상적 유효성 및 비용효과성 분석 – HPV 공동검사전략과의 비교’라는 연구과제로 수여 받았습니다.
제1차 젊은 과학자상은 분당서울대병원 나희영 회원이 “The Shorr Versus Modified Ultrafast Papanicolaou Method for Intraoperative Diagnosis of Peritoneal Washing Cytology in Advanced Gastric Cancer: A Phase II Study (J Gastric Cancer. 2023;23(4):549-560)” 논문으로 수상하였습니다.
포스터상 시상에서 최우수 포스터상은 정요셉(의정부성모병원), 우수포스터상은 김한솔(원주세브란스기독병원), 김현정(상계백병원), 김형경(삼성서울병원) 증례우수초록상은 최석진(인하대병원) 회원이 수상하였습니다.
28일(토)에는 한일학술대회(The 21th Korea-Japan Joint Meeting for Diagnostic Cytopathology)가 개최되었습니다. 일본측 참석자는 24명(전문의 13 명, 세포병리사 10명)이었습니다.
Plenary lecture 주제는 다음과 같았습니다.
